windows 8 upgrade

I am currently using Window 7 home sp 1 and through using this i found out w7 home sp1 version do not have some language features so i wanted to upgrade to w8 pro...

But here is the thing.. I bought window 7 from new egg and its an OEM version and if i upgrade to w8 do i also get install CD or not and would i be able to upgrade it in the first place?

You should be able to upgrade to Windows 8 without issues. You can also order a DVD off of NewEgg once it comes out.

OEM version just means that it is only good for one system. If you want to upgrade it, that is fine, it will do it the same as retail and you can still install 7 on that computer afterwards, it just means you can't install your Windows 7 on any other system, even if the key is not in use on your current computer

I am sure you will get a serial, then MS usually provides legal free copies at mydigitallife.info for download and are legal and work if you use the correct key for the correct version of windows.
