Not sure where to put this, but im in need of a new GPU. I currently have a Asus AS-870-Pro, with a 2GB Nvidia GT430, im looking to upgrade to something higher so i can run games like Hitman Absolution (at the moment it lags like hell to the point its become unplayable.), so far i've been looking at the Nvidia 650ti

NVIDIA GeForce GTX650 Ti 2GB GDDR5 Video Graphic Card Overclock HDMI DVI | eBay

does anyone else have any recommendations ? budget is around 200-350ish, i don't know how much installation will cost so im guessing around 100ish. I don't mind going a little higher if its worth it.

Thanks

What power supply do you have?

Im not sure what power supply it has, is there a way i can find it ?

Is this a OEM computer, if so make and model? You would have to pop the side off to see what make and model power supply.

You will need to open it and see how much room to have from where the video card screws down and across, to see how long in inches a video card will fit. Sure the GTX 660ti is a pretty good card or a HD7950. You will need to look and see what kind of power supply you have. Being a OEM you probably will need one. In the 650W range with Corsair/Antec/XFX/Seasonic/Silverstone/PC Power & Cooling.

A corsair tx650 with an hd7870 ghz edition would be better, since he wasn't going to spend that much.
If you don't have the money for that, take an hd7850.

is this the right corsair ? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Corsair-...31916535?pt=AU_Components&hash=item1c2e107bf7

Also can i just use the NVIDIA GeForce GTX660TI with the corsair or do i have to use it with the hd7870 ghz ? or does it have to be PCI-E or AGP ?

Yeh that corsair. You can use both with it, I thought it was maybe too expensive for you to go with the gtx660Ti. The hd7870 ghz edition is cheaper and is also a great card, the gtx660ti should be a bit faster though.
If I had the money I would go for a hd7950 over the gtx660ti. It's your decision, both cards (hd7950/gtx660ti) will do great for you.
Also an hd7870 ghz edition will do his job fluently for the next years.
