Which is better for gaming?

my budget is around 300 bucks but when i saw that the dell u2410 was on sale i got me thinking should i spend more? i use my computer to surf the web, type documents and i do alot of GAMING!!! so would it be worth the 400+ bucks for the dell 2410 or am i better off with the cheaper dell or asus?

some specs of my rig: i5 3750k, sapphirre 7950 hd, 8gb ram, 1tb hdd, lots of fans n blue leds

Not sure if its better for gaming per say but will definitely be a damn good monitor. I really still am loving my old 2405, so I am fairly certain either of those you will be happy with.

i bought the asus VG248QE 24 inch 3d 144 hz monitor, should get it either 2 moro or thursday

All else being equal, the lowest response time is best for gaming.

still wish more manufacturers would go to 1200 @ 24 inches... 1080 is just a crummy resolution.

You and me both buddy, there are a select handful out there but they are too much money
