Both of this cards have almost same price...
I dont know which to choose please help me with this dilema friends...

3GB VS 2GB
192bit VS 256bit
960 Shading units VS 1536 Shading units
144.2 GB/s bandwith VS 192.0 GB/s
It looks that card Sapphire HD 7870 XT Boost is better but somehow i am always
for geforce. What do you think? :)
 
7870xt is a faster card, but there are cases where the Nvidia will beat it. If you need physx, CUDA, or anything other than gaming the Nvidia is a far better option. Also if you need consistent drivers that do not crash.
 
I'd take the Radeon. Personally (and weirdly) I always had more problems with NVIDIA drivers than AMD, but for the most part, AMD drivers have gotten better.

I wouldn't let the drivers put you off buying one.
 
ik have the club3d 7870 xt, and had also nvidea.
i find the 7870 a gread gard and it will out perform the 660 in gaming.
i had also more problems with nvidea drivers crashing then amd drivers.
so my advice, go for the 7870 xt. ive also read that evga is not happy with the fan on that card.

And I bet all you'all are doing with your card is game. You will have no driver issue with that, but even with 13.1 (the newest), you will hit crashing with any OpenCL application or anything that uses DirectCompute.
But go ahead and keep overselling your almighty AMD.

mmm and you have a 6970.
let me see that the drivers are crashing then.
