Will This PSU Do?

First of all, I should note that I am a complete hardware noob. I've never done any of this before.

I've got a Dell Inspiron 620 and want to get a decent video card to do a bit of gaming. Nothing crazy, but a little bit outside of what the integrated graphics allow me to play (which isn't much). Anyway I'm looking at this-

Seems I am also going to need to update my power supply. Now that video card says that it requires at least 500W, but this power supply I found is only 430W-

Would this be okay, or am I making a stupid risk here? I also found this PSU-

It's only a $30 difference, but being as I'm already shelling out $170 for the video card, I'm looking to save as much money as I can.

How many monitors and what type of interfaces you have?

One monitor. I don't have a some sort of big gaming setup, and I'm not really interested in making one.

Buy the 620 watt unit.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. That's settled then.

Unfortunately still a little expensive for me, so I'll probably look into cheaper graphics cards but I'll be sure to buy the according PSU.

Thanks for the help.

This is settled if anyone wants to close the thread.

Reason I asked is because you're buying a crossfire video card. If you don't need it then get a normal video card. I bought a Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 card to get away from the pathetic onboard video. It was a definite improvement.

Twiki, that makes very little sense. You will not (easily) find a 7850 or above that does not support crossfire. Using one is no different than using 2, it will perform perfectly fine.

Maybe you don't understand how it works. A 7850 is a low end GPU. In a sense, if you want to game and not have it look like complete garbage (with games that are new), then you do not want to be below that. $170 is cheap. Take a look at the Titan or GTX680 if you want to say you can get away with less.
