Increasing C;Drive space

I have a Delll Inspiron computer. There are 3 partitions

System Restore 100GB
C Drive 37.1GB
Free Space 264.43GB

I have cleaned the C Drive but there is very little space on the C Drive. How can I get more space on the C;Drive

You said there is 264GB of free space, is that not enough? Or is that free space all on the system restore partition?

Go into disk management and shrink the free space and then merge it with C.

it won't allow me to shrink the free space

Partition Magic should certainly work but Win 7 has the tools built-in to do it so PM shouldn't be needed.

No it doesn'thave a drive letter. I can't get a screen shot of disk management.

Only teh C Drive and system reserved have volumes at the top. Then is teh boxes below these two boxes have a blue surround and the free space has a green surround.

John, he's using Windows 7. He can just expand the volume in Disk Management.

OP, go into Disk Management (Right click Computer>Manage then select Disk Management). Right click your C:\ drive and select "Expand Partition". Accept the defaults and you'll have more space.
