So in other words it's definitely my CPU that is the problem. Darn it.
 
Crazy, they're like 30 bucks on ebay.

Its the same in BF3, large maps, lots of people, cpu load.

The graphics are also good, but the 660 should handle it. Although it wont even do 60FPS at ultra at HD, so again, getting pumped is possible.

Definitely your cpu if lag spikes happen outside.

Just use SpeedFan or Afterburner to log temp, voltages and frames. Then spend two minutes inside and then again outside and compare the difference.

Yeah I think so. You should be getting more than 5-15 FPS with your card, so I think your CPU is the problem. Your CPU is kinda old and probably bottlenecking your card a bit, sorry...
