How many lanes should a bowling alley have to be a bowling alley?

I have a computer game that was just upgraded to eight lanes. My opinion is that an alley should have at least 10 lanes. Any thoughts on this?

This. I've seen private homes with one or two lanes. My other university had 6 lanes in the basement of the campus center.

You wait all this time after the discussion that preceded you to bring this up?! The point of this thread has been made clear which does pertain to gaming. Not every thread is going to fit your model as to what a thread should be like. If you're not interested in any particular thread, you should bypass it and move on to the next one which is what I do.
