Hey guys I posted a build earlier in the week and I got alot of great suggestions I decided to do alot more research on all of the parts and this is what I came up with, I'm getting ready to buy these parts right now and I'd really like your feedback before I pull the trigger here it is, also keep in mind this computer is going to be used specifically for gaming and recording, mostly gaming though.

Just personal preference, I would swap out the 8350 for a 3770K or 3570K. If you want to stay with AMD get the 8320 and save a bit of money.

Don't get 2 660ti cards right away for SLI. Get one good card and SLI/Crossfire later. What resolution are you playing at?

8320 and 8350 are the same chip but 8350 just has a higher clock out of the box. Just to clarify. :D

And get one stronger card rather than 2 in SLI. SLI only really makes sense if you're using two high end cards and you're just pushing benchmarks or upgrading an older system by adding another of the same card.

I would get a i5 as the IPC is higher. The FX would trash the i5 in stuff that used 8 cores, but almost nothing does. Get a 3570K and UD3H by Gigabyte. If you want to stay with a FX, still get a Gigabyte. Also, get a 670 and WD Black.

Don't bother with SLI. Get one powerful card over two weaker ones. I'd take a single GTX 670 or 680 (or maybe even 690), or a single 7950 or 7970.

Thanks for al your suggestions guys, I am going to go with the WD black for sure, you talked me into it. I would like to stay with AMD because I will be overclocking and I will be using the 8 cores for recording. My main concern is that I wont really need anything more than a single 660ti at the moment. I've done a lot of research and it looks like they can handle pretty much anything thats out right now. I decided to go with the 660ti cause its priced pretty good and also performs very well in SLI also the one I have picked out has a higher core clock than the EVGA thats why I chose that (not like it would be all the noticable) You may be right though perhaps I should go with a slightly higher end card like the 670 or 680, the price points on those cards right now doesn't really seem all that worth is considering they aren't THAT much better than the 660ti (according to some benchmarks I looked at).

It will for 1080. We still haven't hear back from the OP about what resolution he is playing at. But yes EVGA makes great cards. If he is completely set on getting 660ti SLI the blower fans would be better.

I'm also looking at getting a new moniter, I can't remember off the top of my head what res my current monitor supports. but prolly 1080p

So I could easily OC the 8320 just as much as the 8350?
