I cannot open email links containing script

If I get an email with attachments that contains any script, it will not open. Picture attachments open OK. This is a brand new problem. I'm running Windows 7 Home edition. Any help will be appreciated.

What email software are you using?

I am using Yahoo mail. That's about the extent to what I know about it. I tried to open the same attachments on my wife's computer and they opened right up. Any writing on any attachment and my computer won't allow me to open it. Picture attachments open OK.
