Suspicious call

I recently received a call from (800) 000-0000 on my iPhone, stating that they are going to add $195 on the next billing. I would like to know if this number is a scam or not.
I attached a photo to prove the incoming call.
It seems suspicious; as if it's a universal toll-free number.
I appreciate your help.

Thats not a valid number. The only thing you can do is watch your billing and if you see anything suspicious report it.

Definite scam. When your provider starts charging you for something, they just go ahead and do it. Years ago I called 800 numbers for fun just to see what would happen and that number was one of them. As I recall, nothing resulted with that number. I would call your provider to see what they say.

Did you talk to them at all? They probably wanted to get you to think they were charging something, but would settle for less and accept some sort of payment over the phone...which would result in you giving your credit card.

Sounds like a scam. Did you call your telephone service provider about it?

Well, I guess I was not mistaken. I Googled the phone number and it came up at http://www.callercenter.com/800-000-0000.html along with complaints posted by several others who received calls from that phone number, too.
