What SSAA setting are you using?

There is a guy on XS with GTX680's in 3-Way SLi who has played the game, he gets 60fps average in the benchmark. His fps has dipped down to as low as 44.

He uses SSAA at 2, he can't play with that setting maxed

No graphics card can do SSAA at 2x at 2560x1440. And titans perform worse than gtx 690 quad sli. I put tessellation at normal and gained huge amount of fps. Everywhere is 60 fps even outside

Lmfao just for giggles, i put 4x SSAA on 2560x1440 and its like playing at nearly 4k resolution. And at 35 fps avg...

Sorry I didn't read the post properly, he was playing at 1080p not 1440p

Unless I'm mistaken, the first Metro wasn't optimized to well, either. I'm actually going to be trying Metro Last Light between tonight and tomorrow, so I'll report back how it works on a "normal" PC.

Gpu usage in quad sli never goes over 65%. I strongly doubt theres a bottleneck here, my cards are definitely not working hard at all.

Well there is your problem. Check your CPU usage as well as the VRAM usage in game.

Yeah the titans win at 5760x1080 but i will never game with tri monitors anyway

Right but a larger resolution will allow multi gpu setups to really show what they have performance wise. lower resolutions will show CPU bottlenecks more than high resolutions. I guess what I am getting at is 680 > titan > 690 BUT titan is a single GPU not dual. So if you compare sli to sli 2 x 690 in 4 way SLI < 4 way SLI Titans. This of course is counting out SLI driver problems and CPU bottlenecks.

Not that it really matters you are not using 100% of your current setup, so upgrading would be useless.
