Gtx 780

So what do you guys think? I know for most it won't really be worth the upgrade, I haven't been really interested in building a new rig lately but this has me interested again. I also look forward to the 770 which I read is going to be released soon.

I'd love a 780 but $650 is a bit iffy for me lol. the 770 is just a 680 with higher clocks so meh

I think they released it too early and because of that it's simply not powerful enough to compete with older cards. It's a better deal to get a higher end 600 series card then to get the 780, and you'll get pretty much the same performance.

Once they improve the drivers hopefully that gives it a nice performance boost.

780 is still decently better than a 680 and it's better priced than the titan

It's about 2/3 the price of the Titan and comes very close to it in many benchmarks. It's a killer card for 1080p gaming and does really good at 2560 by 1600.

I look forward to the day when graphics cards stop getting faster so we don't have to keep buying new ones to keep up. Sadly that day will probably never come.

Buying a card like this and only playing at 1080p would be a waste, in my opinion. 1440p would be the minimum setup I'd have with a card like the 780.
