I'm not sure what I should be looking for in a motherboard except a dozen USB 2's, and 4 USB 3's, and at least 4 SATA 3's that I can plug in. I just have a whole lot of stuff I plug into my computer and I have a good 750 Watt power supple but I'm just not very smart on the motherboards and would like to keep it around $150 give or take?

I think you mean either i5 3570 or i7 3770? The i5 3770 doesn't exist.

And yeah, the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H would be a good board.

Hi Have to agree - If you are even remotely interested in over clocking now or in the future consider the 3570K paired with a Z77 chipset.

If not then go for a non K CPU with a H61 or B75 chipset.

Alternatively you could also consider a 4th Generation Haswell setup for not a lot more.....
