He's told me that this dell looks pretty good for what he wants,

http://www.dell.com/us/p/xps-one-27-2710-aio/fs

it's the 3rd one on the list for 2100$

he said he won't be able to build one himself , so the best option is to buy one that's made online.

do you guys know if that's good for maxing out games? most importantly something like elder scrolls online?

if not, can you provide an alternative or another way to choose the parts since dell really doesn't have any customization?

maybe you guys could throw something together? that would be really cool, i am pretty sure he needs all the things, mouse screen & keyboard.. lets assume OS too

i know this is a pretty bad deal , but i'm so out of date with parts that i can't provide much help - if you guys could that would be amazing

Got a friend who builds systems? Doing this allows you to hand pick good components and we'll help you there. You'll get your money's worth and then some.

+1 And furyrosewood is reccoemdnig a terrible system. At least get a Maingear or Digital Storm if you must with a quality PSU.

No doubt. Agree 100%. I will never buy a prebuilt. Pick your components and build your own. It allows your own personal customizing and choice. I'd rather not leave a company to make my choice of manufactures/companies for my components.

Not sure what you are talking about...we have dell 5150s in all our labs that are 7 years old, not many PSU issues or failures with them, built like tanks also your the first one to mention that the PSU is bad...nice :p

Never buy an XPS One. I just tore one apart to troubleshoot it. The heat was so bad it killed the HDD. There is no room at all for airflow. Let us help you build it.

The Aurora is a far better system than the One. Those all-in-one desktops are a right pain to disassemble and you can't really upgrade them.
