How do I save photos from my laptop hard drive onto my desktop please?

Hi everyone, about a year ago I sold my laptop to buy a gaming computer,

I sold the laptop but I took the hard drive out so that I can put it into my PS3 for Playstation Plus games, but the problem is that there are some old photos from holidays and things that I want to keep, would I lose them if I put them into my PS3? Is there anyway I can save the photos onto my new computer, there is about 300 photos on there,

Just open up your desktop pc and connect your old laptop drive to a sata port and sata power connector, the drive will show up in windows just pull or copy and paste your pictures to new drive, then you can put the old drive in ps3 and format it.

Never heard of the brand but so long as it's a hard drive it should work with both Windows and the PS3 hopefully.
