Beats Audio a bit messed up?

So I have the beats audio in my DV6 TQE and anytime I plug in the HDMI or plug it into my sterio/headphones it'll pull up two sound mixers in the audio tab?? What's even worse is some things play through the connected device (i.e. a movie plays through the HDMI tv speakers) while other things decide to play through the laptop speakers even while the other component is plugged in...I have set the chosen device as default and it still chooses on it's own what goes where...Also the bass gets distorted with the beats audio as compared to my other laptops standard Realtek audio...anyone know of a solution or have any ideas?

Thanks a bunch here's my specs

HP DV6 TQE
intel core i7 3610QM no OC
Nvidia graphics + intel 4000HD graphics
segate Momentus XT 750gb HD/SSD hybrid drive
16GB Patriot 1333Hz RAM

That is connected to a 65" Mitsubishi TV with speakers through HDMI
OR
it's connected to my Harmon/Kardon sterio connected through 3.5 jack

In my personal, that was due to laptop's limitness audio. Also your tv are two speaker mode. It should be no problem?

It works but it depends on the programs I'm running...Any ideas on why a movie would be slow and clip audio a bit through the sterio and tv?

Scenario: DVD (regular) is in the tray and playing fine through the laptop. In extended view through an HDMI chord + the TV being plugged into the sterio, the audio will clip occasionally and make a stutter :/...

It might be your laptop have hardware issue or bug in windows OS. Should doing antivirus, CHKDSK (check disk) then defrag. If none of those help with issue you have, format hard drive with Windows Installer.

woah lol seems extreme...I'll try that out when I get home then :) (on other laptop) and I'll report what happens! Thanks!
