I'm sorry if this is in the wrong area, but I'd like some help with my part list, (http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/marrioman13/saved/25sy),
I'd like to bring it closer to £400 ($600), please feel free to make any edits and give me some help. Also let me know how this would run on games like minecraft, cubeworld and possibly even next gen console games (I don't wanna be on console any more) Let me know ASAP

The motherboard you have chosen is a micro atx and the case is full atx, this can give problems with the length of power supply cables, if you stick with those 2 items i would recommend buying a 4 pin and 24 pin extender.

His case isn't a full tower, its a mid tower atx. He'll be fine with cable length.

I meant his case is primarily designed for a full tax board not micro atx.

All i can say is many times i have had to use extenders when putting a micro atx board into a mid tower case, now i don`t even consider it, if i am using a micro atx board i use a micro atx case and if a full size atx board a mid tower.

It really depends on the layout of the case and the position of the ports on the motherboard, if the psu is top mounted you have enough cable as that is the same side the ports are nearest, if it is bottom mounted psu cable length could be a problem.

To be honest, if you are having issues with psu cables not reaching then you are using the wrong psu. The cables on the corsairs are long enough to reach anywhere practically. I'm always having to fold up cables because they are too long in fact.

Agreed, the PSU cable length is a non-issue unless you purcahse rubbish crappy psus.

Yes i keep forgetting to rip off customers by putting an £80 power supply into a dirt cheap system being run by £30 sempron cpu

Yeah, i know, because its fantastic when the ignorant find out later that their psus are garbage and when they innocently go to put in that shiny new gpu their computer goes bang. Yeah i agree.

But in all seriousness, just because you sell rubbish doesn't make it an issue. You can get $20 corsair psu that is reasonable and has sufficiently long cables for any ATX case.

I believe you spouted this crap about 2 years ago bigfella and i indulged you and benchmarked a system with a sumvision psu with you predicting it would blow which it didn`t.

Also to note 2 years down the line, I have many of my system back for various reasons vrius etc, none of my cheap crappy power supplies have blown.

My sumvision tablet also has not blown up after extensive use.

Your problem is one size fits all with a one track mind, you do not take account of the price and hardware in different systems, by the sounds of it you rip off your customers by using the same power supplies in a £1000 system as a £200 system.

So 20 dollars for a quality psu is a rip off? You just struggle with the concept of quality. No one here will support your claim that a rubbish psu is worth the money, particularly ones that are so poor quality that the cables wont reach hardware in a standard ATX case.

The overall price of a system has little bearing on the PSU cost and is a ridiculous metric.

You can recommend crappy cheap PSUs if you want, but you clearly don't understand the physics or theory behind psus if you think that is wise. And around here you wont get any support for doing so.

I think time has proved my point as the supposed crappy power supplies are still fine.

I am not for a second saying every cheap power supply is fine, but from first hand experience i can say sumvision is fine, considering you have apparently being building pc`s since before most of us were born, when was the last time you opened a factory built machine, acer, hp, medion etc and it had a corsair psu ? They almost always have cheap power supply`s or even unbranded.

I would bet my last £ you have not even used a sumvision product first hand, people like you sit there reading online and believe what ever you read, then talk is if you actually know for a fact what you are talking about.

If you have never used a sumvision product first hand then your opinion is based on no knowledge, just hear say from others.

Just because a brand is not household name does not make them bad, every brand even your much loved corsair were startups at some time.

So stop passing judgement on products that your dogs cousins brothers pal used once and didn`t like

If you have not used don`t talk like you have.
