Have you ever experienced these problems...

Hi there.

I decided to register and write here after all solutions from Google failed.
I installed some versions of Worms from Team17: Revolution, Ultimate Mayhem, Clan Wars, Reloaded just to check them, because I have never played them before (believe me, playing Worms Armageddon since I was a small kid became a little bit boring). And... nothing. Exactly. Everytime I try to open UM, CW, Revolution, I get this:

I tried to:
update directx, update my drivers, kill explorer.exe and open games from task manager, even solving problems with compatibility failed. Oh, I even changed the settings for processor (so games are opened not by default).

After I want to open Reloaded, I get so terrible lags I have to kill the process from task manager. In Google I found some tips, for example setting affinity to one processor, updating drivers of graphic card and directx, but nothing solves the problem.

Worms Armageddon works normally.

About my computer:
HP Pavilion dv 7
Intel Core TM i5-2410M CPU 2.30GHZ
RAM: 8GB
Windows 7 64 bit
so it's pretty strong.

What's wrong? Worms Reloaded works normally on computer with Windows XP. I propably tried everything Google told me and nothing. Did you ever encounter these problems? Do you know how to solve them?

You didn't specify which video card you are using. What have you got? If you don't know, install GPU-Z or CPU-Z and look at what it says. Alternatively have a look in device manager and under video devices.

I suspect it's a case of not supporting a certain version of OpenGL

There are 2 positions: Mobile Intel HD Graphics and Radeon TM HD 6770M.

I suspect the game might be trying to launch on the integrated Intel graphics. Can you try disabling the integrated graphics in the BIOS and always use the dedicated card for troubleshooting?

Okay... Can you guide me step by step? I am not very familiar with BIOS and I don't want to screw something up.

Do you have the exact model number of your machine?

In any case, you enter the BIOS when the machine first turns on. It will either be the F2, DEL, F10/F12 keys to enter. Sometimes spacerbar or enter. Some machines even have a dedicated button for entering the BIOS.

Basically just have a look through the the options for anything related to graphics or video adapter. If there is an option to disable the onboard intel one and use the dedicated AMD one that is the option you want to set.
