I want to upgrade my graphics card

If it helps that fan shroud can be removed, doesn't really need it.
There is no reason I can see why that graphics card wont go down in that slot, when you try to install it look at the back of it and make sure there are no cables in the way.

Click for full res. Edit: The first time I tried to get it in I had the fan/heat sink out.

I got the power supply in fine.

Here you can see the pins aren't going all the way down

Here's a picture with the little clip thing that's supposed to go around the card. It's only coming about half way.

Another shot of the pins.

You can see the back part doesn't look like it's sliding all the way down like it should. The second picture looks like it's OK though.

There was still room between the capacitor and the card. It's got to be the two metal prongs on the card won't go down all the way.
Is it possible to buy a bracket with smaller shorter prongs and change them?

I can see what the issue is, its your case not enough clearance for the locating legs of the graphics card to go down at the front.

It doesn't show in your picture, because it's hard to take a picture of I imagine.
But you are supposed to jam (not jam, slide w/e) it down there. Is that what you're doing, and it still doesn't fit?
Should be standardized throughout all PCI platforms, but of course there are those who doesn't play by the rules (Speaking of the case. That GPU will fit 99% of all cases you can buy)

I thought I tried applying some pressure. It's kind of awkward messing around with it. Worried I'd mess something up.

Yeah, you don't wanna mess it up. It takes a bit of pressure, but not much. I was thinking of how to explain how much pressure was needed, and my head exploded. I can tell you this. A power supply does not weigh enough to press it down. Take it for what it is :D

The metal prongs are still the problem. The other side went down but the prong side did not. I pressed pretty hard.
This is a prebuilt PC so I guess that's why.
I'll just have to buy a new case or something.
