780Ti Annonced

Not another high-end GPU, surely? ;)

I would personally quite like to see a 760 Ti in the future. Ideally it'd perform better than the 670 but not quite as well as the 770 (since at the moment, the 760 is slower than the 670).

Yeah I know, I think it's retarded they are releasing another uber high end GPU but there are no higher end mid range cards on the green side

It would be fantastic if either amd or nvidia could release a cheap video card that's actually woth its price. By that I mean for example you can get a 7770 for 100 american dollars, but then if you take your time and do a little amazon/ebay hunting for deals you can actually find a refurbished 6950 for the same price, and obviously the 6950 is much better. They should make a video card that's cheap and yet poweful because it is possible, but they of course want to earn lots of money so instead of doing that they release these super expensive cards that offer amazing performance that no-one needs...

My source told me it will have a price of 699$ at its launch in November. But Nvidia will also slash the prices from the other cards that month...

It seems like AMD has a dent in Nvidias plans, the R9-290X has 2 modes, the silent and the "uber" mode, until now, only the silent mode has been benchmarked. However, I just received some results of the R9-290X in uber mode and in crossfire. You can find them in my article here:

The results from the Uber mode seem to be not that much better... Anyway, the R9-290X scores quite a bit better then the GTX780.

Dang, and i havent paid much attention so i assume it is close to norm now, but 1.8-2x scaling is great! Now if they frame timing drivers can control the notorious stutter, then this card will be amazing!

I read that the most visual stutter is gone, but there's still place for improvement.

Only in single monitor. The moment you use eyefinity, it comes back.

NVidia are just rebaging wafers and flooding the market. They can afford to make a lose on some lines, AMD cannot. basic business.
