Im guessing that your getting this from CyberpowerPC and you could probably do better for 3200.(I.E the 7990 cost 700-1000 you could get an R9 290x for less than 600.) I also see no SSD whats the point of 2TB when you dont even have a SSD. A 1,200 PSU is completely overkill.

The list goes on and on, i recommend just building your own, but if the situation demands that you need to buy it pre-built than definitely don't get this.

Yea but is the money worth it just to save 35 sec of time it takes compared to the 7200rmp hard drive .... I kno ur probably going to say u already got 3200 wth does it matter

If your going to spend 3200 dollars on a computer and not even have a SSD that's just stupid. What you have now is stupid you can build a much better computer for less than 3200 dollars.

A 1200W PSU isn't overkill for a completely overclocked, watercooled, dual GPU system. No way. Mine with dual 580s pulled nearly 900W from the wall and im not watercooling the HDDs.

Way overpriced for $3,200.

Why go with an SSD? It's not just the OS that loads in seconds instead of a minute, any application you open is almost instantaneous, once you login you can start to launch applications, you don't have that several second delay while you wait for services to start up. When you play games, they launch faster, load faster, etc.

You're only talking a couple hundred bucks for a good SSD.

what would you price this machine if you were to build it yourself and what would you price it if you were to buy it from a retailer

I could build myself for $2700 roughly. But I would also make some adjustments to make it even cheaper. Retail? I think the price is okay for a pre built.

Id make a few changes to the config however, the 2133 ram is worthless, get 1866, its the max supported by the memory controller and anyone that tells you that faster ram helps with games, is full of BS, save the money and buy another 16 gigs if you feel it, and drop the X to the K version of the chip and you could cut another 500 bucks off the price of the build without any serious losses of performance.

Agreed.

However to others if it costs 2700 to build yourself and 3200 to get someone else to do it (especially the WC and OC), id say its worth it. The warranty, professional cable routing and after sales support is something worth it on a machine like this. Plus if it goes wrong, they fix the whole machine.

thanks this helps a lot and furyrosewood thank you I will do that with my memory and my processer.... that was the type of advice I was expecting to get not DONT DO IT... I was looking for a do this istead of that and I applaude you 2 :)

No worries. Enjoy your build. Btw, the biggest bottleneck in your build is the HDD. An SSD significantly improves performance. I would recommend even a 60GB one for the Windows Installation, and use the other driver for applications and storage.

Other than that, enjoy.

Yea a SSD will change the way the machine behaves significantly, and thats really all i can recommend other than keeping an eye on it and keeping it dusted and cleaned....dust with radiators suck. I would recommend a 120 or greater, considering how much you will shave off from the X series chip, should be able to fit it in.
