Looking For A New GPU

Okay, so here is what I currently have in my computer:
PSU: Corsair tx850m
HDD: Seagate Barracude 2TB
Mobo: Gigabyte z77x-UD3H
RAM: Corsair Vengence 1600 MHz 8gb (2x4gb)
CPU:Intel i5-3570k
GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7950

I'm only looking for a new GPU. I use my computer almost entirely for gaming. I definitely want to go with nVIDIA. I was thinking about going with the GTX 760 or maybe the 770, but I'm definitely open to suggestions. What do you guys think?

Yes if you have to money, got for a single titan but if you have not got the cash, nex best thing is GeForce GTX 780 Ti

Well, if you are sure you want to go with NVIDIA, it's quite simple. How much are you willing to spend?
NVIDIAs high end line-up is pretty linear.
I will however say that unless you are getting the GTX 780 Ti (which is better than the Titan), don't bother. You have a 7950! Buy a second one, they are dirt cheap as all the sellers wanna get rid of them or something.

And Zand5, three things.
Welcome to the forum, please don't double post (edit your previous post if no one has responded yet) and your links don't work. It's linking the "Produc...82E16814130911" which doesn't work.

I would also go with another 7950. Why do you need to go nVidia? A R9 290 will be better then any of nVidia's cards in the price rsnge.

My 7950 can't run anything. With my current build, I need to turn most games down as low as they can go just to run it smoothly. I'm not a fan of AMD after this card.

hahaha :D My 6950 (worse than yours) can run BF3 on ultra settings without Anti-Aliasing :D
I'm thinking two things: You are running on the built in GPU your CPU has or you haven't installed the GPU driver.
But trust me on this, you have a good GPU.

You've got a different problem. That card should be able to game very well. You're not plugged in to onboard video are you?

That's the only possibility, that or your drivers are wrong. But from what you've stated I'm guessing you've plugged in to the motherboard and not your actual video card.

I have a 7850, which is less powerful than what you have by a decent amount and I can max almost all games except some of the newest games, which I turn down to high. :P

Well, where your monitor is plugged in, is it connected to a blue port next to your USB slots and other connectors or is it more isolated down by the expansion slots. Expansion slots are lower.

Your video card should look like this (or similar), this is what you want.

If it's plugged in to one of the bigger plugs in this picture, you're in the wrong place.

Where did you plug in your monitor cable?
AMDs newest driver download <-- Download this and install it. Assuming you have either Windows 7 or 8 64-bit, otherwise you'll need another version.
If it installs and your games work fine, well, it works fine. If it installs and it's still crap, you're using the onboard GPU.

I'd check the cables that I showed earlier before installing any drivers, might cause problems if you are using the onboard video.

It turns out I was, in fact, only using the built in GPU. I would like to thank you guys for helping me. Now, if you don't mind, after just realizing that I haven't been using the graphics card in my gaming computer for the last six months, I'm going to go cry with shame and humiliation. That is, after I play Farcry 3 all night.

Hahah that's kind of what I figured. That card should play games really well. :D

You're joking, right?

Crikey!

In most cases, the onboard video should get disabled if you have a graphics card to stop from this happening, but I'm pleased you're now running your games much more smoothly.

Bu... bu.. but the Titan costs more! More $$$ = better performance, everyyyyone knows that.

With AMDs drivers (dno about NVIDIA) it'll install no matter what, but it'll pop up at boot and say "No AMD GPU detected!" and then do nothing. Checking the cables is a good idea, but it would've been safe to do.
