Gents/ladyss,
I have a problem.
I have a hp laptop (pavilion DV6) where I had windows 8 installed, but then I installed Linux Ubuntu. Windows was replaced. After a while I wanted to go back to windows, so I made a bootable USB. While having ubuntu on my laptop it was impossible to install windows (I still don't know why).
On youtube I found a video showing how to format the harddrive with linux commands, but this failed. I made a mistake and found out that the harddrive was mounted... in the end when I booted my laptop again, it shows the screen of hp and then a black screen with a cursor in top-left corner. Like everything is erased. All I want now is to fix the harddrive (if broken) and install windows again. Is it different if I would use a Windows CD instead of the usb? (THE USB DOES WORK ON OTHER LAPTOPS).
Please help!
Thx in advance!
