Skype camera won't work on Android Tablet

I have a new android tablet. My camera works fine normally, but won't work on Skype. On my HP laptop, I have a pic for video and phone on my Skype, but on my android tablet, I only have a pic of a phone on my Skype. How do I get the video/camera to work on my Skype on my android tablet? I google searched this like crazy, and all the info I have found was worthless and didn't tell me anything.

Should I maybe ask this in the "Software" section? I didn't know if this is considered a tablet issue or a software issue.

Well it does have front and rear facing cameras. The only thing I can think is you need to be patient while the video loads. If you see a camera button on Skype once you've initiated the call, tap it and see if the camera enables.

That's the problem. There's no camera button.
