Hey crew, if I cut and paste a movie clip from a PC hard drive to an external flash drive is any usable data left on the PC HD? And if so how can I remove any remorance on the PC, keeping in mind I'm not an administrator on the PC, I accidentally pasted a clip on a work PC and then removed it, :o

You won't have anything to worry about. It's not like they're gonna come after you.

Some companies keep track of everything you do on their computers.

If that's the case there is abolutely nothing legal you can do about it and since we don't discuss illegal stuff here then there is nothing you can do. And yeah it's not like you're going to lose your job for that... Well that depends on the video too.

Some people keep track of what you do...
For example in my school I know that some students have had their internet access cut off for 6 months as a consequence of using proxies to circumvent restrictions.
We use different methods for tracking that, our firewall reports activities such as those with the IP and MAC of the computer that tried to access a proxy, we can then look at our inventory database to see which computer and who was on it at that time.

This is a different situation.

Was the video about porn bondage and you were in it? :P

Relax lol I don't think anyone will care about it or try to recover it...
