It's hard to see your motherboard and whatnot with the side panel on. Try taking the side panel off and taking another picture.

I have been looking for a graphics card around $200 that could most games on high. Anyways, I don't know if I could fit the card in my current desktop.

Here is the inside.

There is the back.

What do you guys think? Is there any I could possibly get to fit in there that could play games such as Skyrim on high?

Yes. However we need more info.

Please download and install PC Wizard from my sig, run it and go to FILE, SAVE AS and click OK. Copy the text out of that file into this thread.

Secondly, open your computer and record the model number of your PSU. We need to know more than wattage - as this is very important factor in any graphics card you install.

Post the PC Wizard Report and Power Supply Unit model and then we can help.

If it'll work for your system, I'd say go with a Sapphire 7870.. Though you will have to check dimensions, cooling, etc..

Perhaps this is what he has? Just going off the model number from the second picture. Looks like a company that does custom builds.

If its 300watts, Id probably throw that in the trash. I dont think I would even try putting a low-profile card in there...

Yes it is 300 watts. I plan on getting a better PSU anyways so no need to worry. It's the graphics card I need to worry about. I need to know if there is a good graphics card that can fit in my PC.

There you go my good sir.

Ok you're sweet.

You want to buy this R9 270 at $200 or this GTX660 at $180 after rebate, plus this Corsair 500W at $30 after rebate.

Buy the R9 270 if you play BF4 (or other games that support Mantle), or the GTX660 if you play games with Physx (e.g. Batman). They perform similarly, however the 270 would be my choice - the higher memory bandwidth should help with Skyrim.

The PSU is a great deal at $30.

Also don't forget to update your motherboard drivers and bios. http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LM_LX_PLUS/#support

You are going to see night and day differences on a 26" monitor compared to a 610!!! Massive improvement.

When you get the new card:

  1. Update the bios of your motherboard.
  2. Reset all your settings in the BIOS (e.g. boot etc)
  3. Enter Windows.
  4. Download and install Driversweeper (don't run it)
  5. Uninstall all nvidia software via the add and remove programs
  6. Restart.
  7. Run Driversweeper for nvidia display drivers.
  8. Shutdown.
  9. Remove old Power Supply unit and install the new one.
  10. Remove old graphics card and install the new one.
  11. Download AMD or nvidia drivers and install the relevant one.
  12. Restart.
  13. Update direct x.

Thanks man! I just hope it fits in my computer which I think it would. I just need to remove the back cover it seems. I will go with the R9270.

Thank you everyone who helped or tried to help me in this thread!

Hold on. I need something with a single bracket. Sure, I have two connectors but only a single bracket. I mean, how is this going to work?

You're not restricted to one bracket. You just break off the cover where the second bracket would go (it's designed like that for a reason).

I have this card, sapphire r9 270x toxic, and I have to say, in that price range it is great.
