I have an z87 OC Force MoBo by Gigabyte. I dont really know how to overclock well. i just know how to manipulate the vcore and cpu freq. Could anyone tell me what other variables i have to fluctuate to achieve the best stability. I know my 4770k is capable of 4.7 G.h.

1. There are few guides on this very forum on how to overclock.
2. If you don't know how to, then maybe it is not for you.
3. Your CPU overclocks automatically to 4.2-4.3 GHz anyways, do you really need more?
4. Not every CPU is the same, one 4770K will hit 5GHz, another only 4,5 GHz.
5. What is the rest of the specs for your computer.
6. If you know how to manipulate vcore and frequency then you know how to overclock, with only difference that Haswell CPUs do not OC well with frequency changes, that is why you bought a K series with unlocked multiplier. Change multiplier only.

What kind of CPU cooler do you have?

Wow, nothing like getting a reply a month and a half later. Probably wasn't even worth replying.
