Hello, I'm looking for some sort of extremely small micro atx case, I will need plenty if cooling as i will be using it for gaming. Something like the bitfenix prodigy m would be perfect if it didn't cost so much. My current case is a aerocool vs-3, it is a good case but I didn't realize how little space I had, I was also looking at the zalman ZM series but non of them look good.
I have money but im not wanting to spend much as i want to upgrade my whole system, around 50 pounds (about 80 dollars).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Specs:
mobo: Asus M4A78LT-M LE (is this getting old, time for an upgrade?)
Processor: AMD Athlon II X3 3.1Ghz
Ram: 4gb Kingston DDR3 (I know Its not much.)
OS: Windows 7 32 bit
Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 5570

If your current case is too small why do you want a smaller one?

I meant that I did not realise how little space I had on my desk, its a custom desk and when they took the measurement I made sure my PC would fit but when they built it it hung about 3cm off the edge

are you able to lay the tower on its side and place a monitor on top of it....I am not sure if going any smaller for a gaming rig would be such a good idea.

You can with some cases, but you may have issues with ventilation and other stuff. Most pc's are meant to be standing up. Also, why not put your pc on the floor beside your desk? Is it because you have a carpet? Yes, I know dust, hair, and stuff but the only thing you'll have to do is clean it a bit more often then you would if it was on the desk. Another thing you can do is put a little table beside your desk to put your pc on.

setting a tower on the floor can be very problematic and should be avoided if possible. When the tower is on the floor it can get kicked have stuff fall on it..if you are in a level of a building that could flood it could get ruined that way. on top of the desk is really the best place to have it.

I do agree that the tower being on the side is case specific though.

As long as he/she is responsible and treats their stuff with care it shouldn't be a problem. A lot of people keep their pc's on the floor.

Coolermaster N200 or Fractal Design Core 1000.
Fractal is a tad smaller, but Coolermaster supports 2x120mm front intake and 1x120mm exhaust vs 1x120m intake and 1x92mm exhaust. Both have USB3 and side-120mm fan mount.

Very true but also something I dont think I mentioned it if you have a cooling fan that suck air in...and you have the tower on the floor you have a good chance of sucking in unwanted dirt and dust particles.

All you gotta do is clean it a bit more often.
