Two days ago I switched the television from cable to internet ( Smart TV ). I got the message that it is not connected to the network . I tried rebooting the internet modem ,as well as the wireless router ,which is located in another room. None of this made any difference so I thought that I would have to call a technician . Next morning I checked and it was connected and working fine , so what happened ?
 
Isn't there a way to leave it connected to the internet all the time? Wireless can be finicky at times.

No because it is a television and also when the television is turned off it goes back to cable. It has a remote control and I have to switch it back and forth depending on what I want cable or internet from the wireless router in the other room. Maybe if it was a wired connection that would be possible but not with a wireless one. This doesn't happen very often, I think this was the first time.
