Greeting,
I need a little help. I purchased a Corsair Digital AX1200i power supply and it will not power my system. I push the test button with nothing connected and it starts and I get a green light. With all the cables plugged in I get no power to system. I try the test button again and I hear a click and I get no test light or power. If I remove the 8 pin part of the 24 pin connector from the back of PSU I still get no power but when I hit the test button I get a green light and all my accessories will power on until I let go of the test button and it all dies. I connected all the cables back into the PSU and unplug the power from the Motherboard and connect to a 24 pin tester all the power come on and i get all green lights on the tester except the -5v light. I put back into motherboard the 24 pin cable and remove the 8 pin CPU Power cable and connect that to the Tester and I get no power to tester and no lights.
I would appreciate any help and suggestion you could offer. I have returned the PSU back to the retailer for an exchange but I would like to make sure I did the right thing.
