PC Build

Hi there,
I will let a company build a PC and I would like some information for the specs. I will use my PC for a lot of different things. I will use it for gaming, video editing, music production and daily browsing. Programs I will use a lot are FL Studio (with a lot of plugins and libraries), Sony Vegas Pro 12, Adobe Photoshop CS6, Adobe After Effects CS6, Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty 4. Due to competitive gaming I would like to have 250 fps steady on CoD4 Promod. In the future I would like to be able to upgrade my PC with an additional graphic card and maybe additional RAM. My specs are the following:

MSI Z87-G41 PC Mate €81,99 ($114)
Intel Core i7 4770K / 3.5 GHz €284,50 ($395)
MSI R9 270 GAMING 2G €157,99 ($220)
XFX Core Edition PRO 550W €55,94 ($78)
TP-LINK TL-WN881ND €16,81 ($23)
Crucial Ballistix Sport XT 16 GB (2x8) €133,90 ($186)
Gelid Tranquillo Rev.2 €34,98 ($49)
SSD: Crucial M500 €59,98 ($83)
Cooler Master CM 690 III €78,99 ($110)
HD: Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 €74,90 ($104)
Samsung SH-224DB €19,93 ($28)
Assembly €59,- ($82)
Total: €1.058,90 ($1471)

A link to the card of the webshop: click.

All help/comments are appreciated. If you would like to suggest other components, please make sure they are available in the webshop. My budget is around €1050,-($1450)
Thanks in advance for helping me.
Edit: I already have Windows 7 Ultimate, so I don't need to buy an OS.
Edit2: I do not need to record samples/vocals for music production.

The build looks fine.

However, here is some changes I would make if it is my build

mobo - Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H
GPU - Sapphire R9 270X Dual-X OC
Case - Corsair 330R/ Nanoxia Deep Silence 2

Edit: if you have fixed budget, you can also consider get cheaper AMD FX8350 with R9 280X instead.

Thanks for ur reply. Could you explain why those parts are better?

The biggest performance difference at this point will be with the SSD

SAMSUNG 840 Pro -- 256GB
Sequential Read Speed: Up to 540MB/s
Sequential Write Speed: Up to 520MB/s
Random Read Speed Up to 100K IOPS
Random Write Speed Up to 90K IOPS

CRUCIAL M500 -- GB: 120 / 240 / 480
Sustained Sequential Read up to (128k transfer) 500MB/s 500MB/s 500MB/s
Sustained Sequential Write up to (128k transfer) 130MB/s / 250MB/s / 400MB/s
Random Read up to (4k transfer) 62,000 IOPS / 72,000 IOPS / 80,000 IOPS
Random Write up to (4k transfer) 35,000 IOPS/ 60,000 IOPS / 80,000 IOPS

Crucial is not close until the 480GB SSD

It's not until getting to the 480GB SSD that Crucial even approaches the performance of Samsung.

SAMSUNG 840 EVO -- 250gb
Sequential Read Up to 540MB/sec
Sequential Write Up to 520MB/sec * Sequential Write performance measurements reflect TurboWrite operation
Random Read (4KB, QD32) Up to 97,000 IOPS
Random Write (4KB, QD32) Up to 66,000 IOPS

Thanks for your reply. Those are a bit more expensive. What about the Kingston SSDNow V300 (120GB)? Read and write speed are 450 MB/sec.

Honestly, I do not know.
I just bought a Samsung 840 EVO 250GB at Fry's for significantly less than $200.
I'm a performance freak and put my money where I get the biggest bang for my buck.

Best wishes!

Mobo - gigabyte is my personal perference as i get used to their bios.

Gpu - for the difference of EUR 10, it worth getting 270x

Case - personally perfer solid quiet case than cm690 iii.
