Running Games from USB 3.0 External HDD

I'm sure this issue get's beaten to death but I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience doing this. Will I run in to any problems running games from a USB 3.0 Hard Drive. It's a 1TB Western Digital My Passport drive. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236189

I'm wondering because I may toss an SSD in to my laptop down the line but don't want to spend an arm and a leg to have enough storage for games.
 
Games will work just as normal.
I have played MANY games from USB 2.0 HDD and they run just as normal.
Don't worry about it.
