Wallpaper and Windows accounts

Hey guys I have a question:

Is there a way to have different wallpapers on two different machines using the same Windows account? I have a desktop and a laptop and every time I change the wallpaper on one, it changes on the other. It's not on the synched theme though... Am I missing something?

I'm on Win 8.1 update 1

Ah, up until I saw you were on Windows 8.1 I thought you were using roaming profile or something of the like, as there is no desktop syncing between computers prior to Windows 8.

Unfortunately I'm not that much help, but is there anything under your account settings to select what you want to sync?
 
You two are weird...

Anyway, there's "Sync settings with OneDrive" if you haven't tried that, yet. Just open the sidebar (WINKEY + C) and go to search and type "sync" and select "Sync settings".
