I plan to buy a present for my wife a laptop there is $ 800 budget roughly what brand or type of match that amount??

Any special uses for the computer outside of the traditional web browsing and word processing? Any serious photo editing? Gaming?

Does she want an ultra portable laptop? Large screen? Would she rather have excellent battery life and so-so performance, or so-so battery life and excellent performance?
