Who Are Some Sites Online That Build PCs?

Yeah it's good but it's 2+ years old.

Why not get a motherboard like this and the i5 4690K instead? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128714&cm_re=z97-_-13-128-714-_-Product

I suppose changing the MB instead would be better but I do want SPDIF as mentioned earlier. This is a list that I have created on Newegg that has the features I want selected. I would like to keep the board around the same price or maybe even less if possible but getting a good board is worth a few extra bucks if I have to do it. I don't know a lot about the different makes and models, so I would ask you to choose a board from this list. If I need a Z97 board I suppose this one has the most reviews that are positive and though it's a little pricey I might could do it. Not sure but it boost 3 monitor display as well, so maybe I wouldn't need the GPU. If I still did I would maybe want to go a bit cheaper (or not)... maybe this one but like I said, i don't really know what I'm looking at and what the difference between these 2 boards really are. I do like the sound/volume boost feature though on the one you listed.

I can't see your parts list on Newegg but the bundle looks good so I'd go for that. :)

Well, after looking closer at the specs on the ASUS website it looks like the Asus Z97-AR board wont support 3 monitors and I would need the GPU to do so where as the Asus Z97-A board does... unless mistaken but I believe that is the big difference between them. If that's the case I will skip the bundle and get the CPU and Z97-A separately. Am I right on that?

Why don't you have a video card? And why do you have a 120GB and 250GB SSD?

I've already asked that. I think he just wants to run 3 monitors off the integrated graphics, which would kinda suggest to me that he feels there is no need for a video card.

About the SSDs - no idea. One 250GB or one 500GB would make more sense. Pretty sure I've already said that in this thread though.

Yeah, I didn't realize there were 3 pages :P

OK, to clear up a few things I think I've decided on for HDs... I am thinking a 120 GB SSD for the OS and probably a few 500GB drives for files and storage... I was told if your SSD drive goes down that recovering data is much, much harder than if using the older style, which made sense to me. As for a GPU I will probably get that later as I wont be running 3 monitors right now... going with 1 big one for now... maybe 3 later... So now I am thinking maybe going to an Intel i7 instead of i5 for the CPU... a friend suggested to me his setup which is this board, this CPU he suggest this RAM but I would think this would be better or maybe even going with this... thoughts?

Can't wait to get this case as well... just need to decide how to monitor temps inside to tell whether I need to install additional fans.

Please get 1TB drives for storage, they're only 5 bucks more. A little part of me dies inside every time I see someone buy 500 GB HDDs.

true they are only $5 more (and I may get 1TB drives)... but that's a heck of a lot of data to try to recover/restore should something go wrong (which really isn't that uncommon)

1TB really isn't that much data, heck I'm using 4TB myself and have that backed up in 2 locations.

Besides, just because you have 1TB doesn't mean you have to fill it, it just gives you the option to.

I've decided it's pointless buying anything below 1TB now when it comes to mechanical HDDs. :D

OK.... lol... I will probably go with 1TB drives but can someone give me feedback on the decision to maybe go with the MB, CPU and RAM linked above instead of the this CPU and this MB?
