What CPU do you have?
Try some of the stuff in here too http://www.computerforum.com/209946-tech-guide-diagnosing-pc-will-not-post-start.html
id remove everything you have connected, SSD, both hdd's. it will still post without them connected. make sure everthing is screwed down correctly so mb standoffs etc. take both RAM sticks out and use just 1 then try booting, if not swap them over and try again, if needed in different slots. If still nothing id be drawn to the mboard or cpu having a fault. did you install the cpu matching the arrows on the board and cpu etc?
if you still cant get it to post id take the cpu out and check the cpu and socket for damage or debris. Checking that none of the pins on the motherboard are bent and that the cpu itself looks good.
id also check the bios ver online to make sure it doesnt need updating to run the current cpu you have.
You might need to update your BIOS if you're using that CPU with a Z97 board. Did you buy it from a shop or from a retailer online?
Before anything make sure its plugged in to the tv correctly with the correct port etc, dont want to take it to bits and find its on the wrong hdmi port.
haha dont worry id had worse. I built mine and 1 stick of ram was dead and the cpu was dead. It took some figuring out and it took about a week to get the cpu replaced by intel. Hadnt had a problem with it since though.
What model of board do you have?
bought it all form NewEgg last week. That CPU got dated fast. How would I update my BIOS? Never did anything like that before with a PC that would even let you get to the BIOS menu.
You will need to first get a CPU that works with that board.
I don't suppose you can send the 4670K back, get a refund and buy a 4690K instead? Or do an exchange?
I think the BIOS is the problem here.
Sure you got the CPU power connector plugged in> Plus is all the stand offs under the board in the right places?
