Computer wont boot.

Recently my computers PSU died. (Randomly while playing a game) After I replaced the PSU the computer would not turn on at all and showed no signs of life, so I assumed that the PSU must have brought some of the parts down with it. I purchased a new Motherboard and now the computer boots up and the fans work, however now the display is not working?I'm thinking when the PSU died it brought down the processor with it maybe? The idea of having to buy a new processor or video card is making me sad, but if it has to be done so be it. Just wondering if anyone has ideas before I replace all these parts and so good buy to my wallet?

Additional info: The powerlight is on in the Moba. All fans work properly except the graphics card fan pauses randomly. I have a i5 cpu, GTX650 ti video card.
 
The only way to determine what is bad is to start by replacing parts. Borrow a video card from someone. What motherboard do you have? Does it have onboard video to test out? What model of power supply do you have now? Most of your components can be bad such as cpu, ram, hdd, cdrom drive. When a power supply goes, it could take everything with it.

The new motherboard I have is a P8H61-M LE CSM R2.0 I have a graphics card laying around here somewhere I can use to test it. The new PSU is a Thermaltake TR2 600w. If I test the other video card and it still does nothing would that mean its the CPU?

Also when I turn it on the keyboards lights flash for a second then turn off if that means anything?
 
Are you running processor that has integrated graphics? What processor do you have?

All the issues you are having just means something is wrong and its needs to be fixed. If the onboard video doesn't work if you have a cpu that has onboard graphics and a known good video card still don't work then you can assume that it could be the cpu is bad.

I have a Intel Core-i5 3350P Quad-Core Processor 3.1 Ghz 6 MB Cache LGA 1155 - BX80637i53350P. I tried the video card and it still doesnt work so I think its safe to say its the cpu. :( Thanks for everything though atleast I know what the problem is now.
 
That processor doesn't have onboard video so you would need to use a video card. It still doesn't mean the cpu is bad. Bad ram could cause it to not boot up either. You might want to take it to a local repair place and have them test so you aren't replacing things that don't need to be replaced. Might cost a nominal fee though.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, there is a local repair shop near me so I'll check it out. Thanks for everything I appreciate it!
 
Problem solved!

We were right when we thought the CPU was fried aswell. When the PSU died it ended up taking the Motherboard and CPU with it. Luckily my Video Card survived! Thanks again for the help!
