Help With Upgrading PC

Hey Guys, Could someone help me with upgrading pc.

Current Specs:

CPU: I5 3570k @ 3.40GHz
GPU: Gtx 660 2GB
Motherboard: asrock Z77 pro4-m
Ram: 8 GB
PSU: 600W

Well christmas is coming and i'm getting new GPU and PSU if needed. But i'm not sure wich one is best at the moment price range 500-600€. I was looking Gtx 980 not sure is it good? Btw if someone could PM skype so we could talk there.
 
First of all, what do you use your pc for? If gaming, what games do you play? Open the side of the case and get the model number off the side of the power supply.
 
i have a gtx 970 and im able to run every game that i personally play at least at 50+ fps on ultra, most games getting 80+ fps. thats at 1080p of course. you shouldn't need a gtx 980 but it is an amazing card
