Dual monitor shift

I had a 1280x720 monitor and a 1280x720 tv as secondary running extended display landscape. When I ran a game and played a movie full screen on tv it was fine. I got a 1920x1080 monitor now. When I run a game the movie shifts half way to the right off the tv screen. How can I fix this?

Reduce the resolution of the monitor down to the size of 1280 x 720 and see what happens.

^ try this, but my guess is that you need to run "auto adjustment" on your monitor.

I have to do this when I connect my laptop to my Samsung monitor.
