hi im wanting to format my computer i have windows 7 ultimate but i do not have the disc and the key is OEM code if i download windows 7 ultimate iso and put it t usb can i use the OEM code again? would be grateful if any one could help thank you
 
As long as you get the official Windows 7 ISO then yes you can use the OEM key (as long as it's the same machine).

They used to be easy to find, but it looks as though Microsoft has removed the Digital River download links for Windows 7.
 
hi im downlading the windows 7 ultimate iso as we speak so will see what happens and thank you for replying and letting me know that you can use the the same OEM code and its for the same conputer

Hopefully its ok jo jump in on this thread if not let me know, and sorry ahead of time. How do you get the ISO's? Rebuilding my machine I'm going to need it since I will have a new Motherboard and processor.

Mine is Windows 8

If its an OEM machine and you change motherboard, you won't be able to reuse the OEM key to activate. You will need a new OS and key.
 
hi is there way around this for example you can use external hdd and keyboard command that brings up a box full of different operating systems as iv'e seen it done im not no computer expert and im wanting to learn it but thoe problem is what software do i need t o install on the external hdd and the thing that puzzled me is what he did to make windows active can anyone point me in the wright direction would be a grate help thank you
