Nope, it performed just as it should have. However, we still have an issue with remnants to old software in the otl and combofix log but doesn't show up in the add-remove programs list. Will work on that later today.

Next thing to do would be to run a temp file cleaner. You can download and run ccleaner. If one has never been ran then it will slow down your system. TFC (temp file cleaner) is another good one to use. I can't give you links right now as I'm on my phone at work.
 
I did go ahead and run the CC Cleaner which I had never done. Going to try to load up a bunch of programs and windows and see if it performs better tonight.

Also, a quick question - the specs on my motherboard says I have 4 SATA II. I assume this means if I did want to add an SSD drive, I cannot add a SATA III drive? Probably a stupid question, but based on cost, that would make it a non-starter even if I wanted to.
 
If you want an ssd for faster bootup times then get one. There are no drives made that will even come close to the speed of sata 2 yet.
