NAS - WD My Cloud

Does anyone have experience with the WD My Cloud 3TB Personal Cloud Storage?

I'm considering buying it for the purpose of streaming movies/TV shows to my TV/iPad/phone and was hoping that this would be able to stream 720 and 1080 videos without playback suffering. The TV is wired to the network, phones/iPad are wireless - obviously ;)

Stuttering would depend on the connection if you're using the WD streaming apps, what type of wireless network do you have at home? 802.11 b/g/n/ac?
 
I'm using an old Linksys WRT54GS with DDWRT, running 802.11 mixed (B, G) I have the TV hooked up to a WD TV Live Hub now, so I should be able to find the NAS drive with no issues, and should only need apps for the phones/ipad.

If you will be accessing content over WiFi, I would definitely upgrade your home network to at least a dual-band 802.11n.
