lostsoul62 Member May 24, 2015 #1 Can I find out how old my hard drives are without tearing my computer apart?
beers Moderator Staff member May 24, 2015 #2 Most of the drives have manufacturing date on the device. I was hoping SMART had that kind of data but you could see things like 'power on hours' to give you a decent guess of the actual usage time as well. Usually you can pop out a drive without 'tearing the computer apart'. It's a pretty quick removal to check.
