I'm going to be running a Linux based OS (Mint) on my computer and have all my Windows base OS running virtually in case I catch a bug or something I can just delete that machine.
My question is what's the top/best virtual software out there (Linux based of course...and free)?
I want the virtual computer to have the option to be able to connect to other computers for file sharing and what not, but also have the option to keep it in a "test" environment as well.
I know VMware workstation has these option but not sure if this software can run on Linux. Also, I keep hearing about Virtualbox. Will this do what I'm asking?
Thanks,
