HDD to USB cable

Can someone recommend a good (and cheap) cable or adapter? I want to connect an internal HD from my MacBook to a USB so I can retrieve files.

Thanks for the help. I've been looking at the cheaper ones on ebay, but i dont understand how alot of them come with no power supply!
Can the USB really provide enough juice to power the hdd while exchanging data? I guess USB charges my phone when i connect that so maybe its the same?

You'll notice in this image that there are actually 2 usb connectors on the cable plus the mini connector. One of the usb's is for data and the other is to provide power.

It's definitely possible to power a 2.5" HDD with just USB. I don't think I've ever seen a 3.5" being powered this way though.

You should buy an adapter that has a power supply. I do have a 2.5" SATA USB drive that uses the USB as power, but some of those cheap adapters don't work well.
