Why can't I paste a comment in YouTube?

I've been pasting comments in YouTube for as long as i can remember until today. I believe I just posted a comment just 2 or 3 days earlier and as far as I know nothing has changed.

I like writing first in word and then cut-n-paste for the grammar check otherwise spell check sometimes uses the wrong word giving a whole different meaning.

Doesn't look like you are able to copy and paste anything into the comment box. I just tried it and it didn't work.

I wounder if YouTube made some changes. I know at one point I could not right click the mouse to paste, but this is the first time I could not use Ctrl-V

I tried EI, FireFox and Pale Moon and it did not work so I don't know what is going on. Maybe I'll reboot the computer

It worked just today but now ctrl v does nothing and it shows paste on the context menu where it didn't before, hence using ctrl v.

My solution, enter a text message like usual then edit it.
Paste and ctrl v works in edit mode.

Also if you have a site that wont let you right click to copy a pic or removes copy/paste, use palemoon commander and in the General tab, uncheck "disable or change the right-click menu."
Only use it then recheck it cause some sites you need their custom right-click menu.

Hey thanks Cartel, I'm in a hurry at the moment to go to work, but I will give that a try later. :)
And thanks for joining to share this info.
