Is OC worth it for me? And is there any way for me to save money?

Planning on running games such as minecraft, skyrim, BO2, CS go, some games from steam, programs like autodesk inventor and android SDK. I also want it to last a while without need for upgrading as I learn new things. Also any help with cheap wireless keyboards and gaming mice would be helpful.

I need help with everything and I want to get it right the first time.

You'll get virtually no benefit from upgrading that CPU. I would look at the GPU and try to get something with at least 4GB VRAM. May be a 970 or 980?

Best option here.

There's only about a 10% performance boost between Skylake and the previous generation (Broadwell??) that can be made up for in overclocking and supplemented with a good graphics card.

If it's not much more expensive go for the latest generation and get an i5 6600K, an LGA 1151 Z170 board and DDR4 RAM.
