New video card

I am replacing my old video card,will I have to uninstall the old cards driver?Or do I just install the new cards driver over the old one?
 
Sometimes it's even necessary for optimal performance. I got a 20-30 fps improvement by using a program to remove all of my old drivers. I believe it's called DDU.

Found DDU ,will definitely use it.Getting my 750 ti SC tomorrow.Thanks for the helpful replies.
 
ok and if your screen goes blank after deleting drivers just restart the computer and you will have a display again.

Ran into a big problem ,after I got the new card put in Windows 10 OS my password won't work.I tried to system restore it and there were no restore points and the Windows restore disc won't work either ,what happened and how can I fix it.
 
I really don't see how a video card could affect windows password, but I'd say try the password again and make SURE it's right. If that doesn't work, then I'd say try using the old video card just to pick up where you left off. I tried windows 10 and I got rid of it, too buggy for me.

Got it fixed,went back to Windows 7.Gonna wait awhile before I go back to 10.
 
Good, and good idea. Windows 10 is not optimized for use yet in my opinion. They should advertise it as being in beta.

I use it extensively on two machines on a regular basis. It's definitely not beta and works well.
 
Well my opinion is a bit different because I use subliminal messaging software and it doesn't work well with windows 10. If it wasn't for that I would be more positive about it.
