problem to open jpg,pdf,word,video files

Hellow guys
I am new in the forum , please help me out to solve the problem . Few days ago I saw the old jpg pictures and words and pdf and video files not possible to open and this happened this time i never had experience of this problem . I explain the new word or jpg pictures and pdf is working in some how this happended just the
old ones ,, I have avast antivirus and i did compelete scan the computer , please ask me more information if need it .

On the files that are giving you this error, right click on them and go to properties. How large is the file size?
 
Well, you can't open jpg files with microsoft word. On the properties page, click on change and select windows photo viewer.
 
I did that come out like this i attached ,,

please experts help me out .. any idea what is this ???? is this happened to nobody else ??' please help

Tried as in 'actually downloaded extra anti-malware programs' or tried as in 'I already tried Avast, let me be lazy and say I tried more'?

It sounds like you either have malware that's corrupting your files/ability to open them or a storage issue where your files become corrupted.

This is a problem larger than the specific extensions you listed.
 
You can always try doing a system restore back to a day when everything worked correctly. If it hasn't worked in a long time then you may just want to do a fresh install of windows.

It may help to run some malware scans though and see if they help.

It didn't work with system restore because it was long time i did not use it . and i did malewarebytes and aswcleaner and nothing changed ,,,

what do u mean by fresh install windows ,, i want my pictures and videoes back ,,,

Not much you can do if system restore won't work and you have ran malware programs, though you haven't posted any logs. Seems your files are corrupt. Is the system working ok except for opening these files?
